We are delighted to welcome Sarah Need to the Firechief team. Sarah joins us as Marketing Graphic Designer and is excited to get involved as she hasn’t worked within the Fire Industry before.
Sarah’s love for art and design started at the tender age of 15 when she was painting and selling her art to the public – in fact her first painting sold for £180! She continued with her passion by completing a degree in Illustration and a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design.
Sarah began her career 18 years ago with her first graphic design job in the West Dorset District Council where she stayed for 9 years. She then decided that she wanted to expand her experience, so she moved onto other graphic design positions to further develop her skill set.
Sarah’s favourite thing about being a graphic designer is the help she can provide to businesses. Before joining Firechief, she did a year of freelance working which she still continues with outside of work hours. Sarah enjoyed her time freelancing but missed working in a team environment.
Outside of work, Sarah loves music, concerts, going to the theatre and spending time with her partner and family and one of her main hobbies is still painting!
Sarah would best describe herself as calm, creative, generous, thoughtful and enjoys learning new skills.
