Firechief® Returns Policy
Thank you for choosing Firechief to make your purchase. Though we hope you are satisfied with the products you received, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a replacement or credit/refund.
Please see below for our full return policy and warranty information. We want you to be satisfied with your shopping experience and we will do everything outlined in the policy below to improve it.
No goods should be returned without a Returns Number (RN).
Unwanted Item Return
If you no longer require an item, you can return it to us within 28 days, as long as it is in a saleable condition. (Terms and conditions apply)
To return an item, please contact our Customer Success Team on 0330 999 2233 or sales@firechiefglobal.com to let us know. If you are returning the item to our warehouse yourself, we will send you a returns label to attach to the packaging. If you are requiring us to collect the item, we will send you a collection note and advice of a proposed collection date. There is a £15 collection fee if this is the option you take. Please note there may be/likely to be a 15% restocking fee for all items returned unwanted. All items must be returned in a resaleable condition, in the original packaging with all parts present and free from damage.
Once we have received your returned item and inspected its condition, your credit/refund will be processed the following day and will show on the invoice the following morning. Please allow that amount of time for us to process your return before contacting us on its status. Any collection fee and the restocking fee will be invoiced for separately.
**Please note stock clearance items and non-stock products are not eligible for returns, unless damaged or faulty**
Damaged/Faulty Item Return
If you received a product that was damaged, not working or faulty, please contact our Customer Success Team on 0330 999 2233 or sales@firechiefglobal.com within 48 hours to begin the process
of your exchange or credit/refund. We will ask you to provide details and a photograph of the item, we will also require the order number the item was from and the address of the collection.
We will replace the item FOC next day. (Terms and conditions apply) We will then arrange the collection of the faulty/damaged item and send you a collection note and advice of a proposed collection date.
If you are requesting a credit/refund we will arrange the collection and once we have received and inspected the item, your credit/refund will be processed the following day. Please allow that amount of time for us to process your return before contacting us on its status.
Extra or Incorrect Goods Return
Please contact our Customer Success Team on 0330 999 2233 or sales@firechiefglobal.com within 7 days so that we can we can arrange for the correct goods to be forwarded to you next day and to arrange collection of the extra or incorrect goods by sending you a collection note and advising of a proposed collection date.
Warranty Cover
If any goods develop faults within their warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement under the terms of that warranty.
Firechief® Fire Extinguishers - Limited Warranty
This warranty is given by the manufacturer Firechief Global, a trading entity of Sentura Group Ltd ("we, us or our"), registered address at 3 Lands End Way, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6RB to the person originally buying the goods ("you or your") from us or our approved distributor. This warranty is applicable to the fire extinguishers in the Firechief Professional range purchased in the United Kingdom.
WHAT IS COVERED:
We guarantee the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when sold and from the date of its first purchase for a period of five (5) years ("Warranty Period"). The Warranty Period extends 5 years from the date of purchase up to, but exclusive of, the first extended service due after 5 years where relevant. If the product becomes defective within the Warranty Period, we will exchange or repair the product, at our own discretion, free of charge. In the event that an exact like for like replacement is not available, we may exchange it for an item of equal or superior specification or issue a refund for the product. We will not cover the cost of installation of replacement components supplied as replacements under this warranty.
HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE:
Any claim must be supported by a proof of purchase (original sales receipt or invoice clearly showing the item). The date of purchase must be stated legibly, without deletions or changes. This warranty does not apply if the product type or serial number or date of its production has been altered, deleted, removed or is illegible. If you need to make a claim, please return the product to the point of purchase in the first instance within 14 days of discovery of the defect.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
To be covered by our warranty, the fire extinguisher MUST be installed, commissioned and maintained by a competent person in accordance with the manufacturer's Maintenance and Service Information provided with the product and BS 5306 (parts 3 & 8), the service label being legible and clearly showing the service history.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- any accidental or deliberate damage. This may include damage resulting from fire, accident, pets, the product being dropped, liquids, flooding, vibrations, excessive heat or cold (beyond the given service temperature range), lightning, transportation.
- damage considered to be normal wear and tear such as scratches and dents where the function of the product is unaffected.
- the use of parts or accessories not provided by us, or any installation, repairs, alternations, servicing, adjustments, or modifications made by the customer, or a person not authorised by us.
- other causes not attributable to manufacturing defects of the product, including the product being used incorrectly, negligently, or not for its intended purpose, failure to protect or store the product appropriately, or in connection with any external devices causing damage to the product.
LIMITATION ON LIABILITY:
We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to property, human life or injury when the product is used and we do not give guarantee, or warranty, or suggest, or imply that the product will extinguish all fires, regardless of fire type or origin. To the extent not prohibited by law, this product warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties. Except for the express warranties contained in this product warranty statement and to the extent not prohibited by law, we disclaim all other warranties. To the extent such warranties cannot be disclaimed under the laws of your jurisdiction, we limit the duration of such warranties to the duration of the warranty period.
Our responsibility for defective goods is limited to repair or replacement of the products. The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty or any other warranty which may be applicable under the laws of your jurisdiction. Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.
Our guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights or any other rights under legislation governing the sale of consumer goods.
