Today – 8th March – is International Women’s Day (IWD) and to mark the day, the ladies of the Sentura Group team held a virtual afternoon tea get together on Microsoft Teams.
IWD is a global day aimed at identifying, celebrating and increasing visibility of women's achievements to help forge equality. The theme for IWD 2021 is ‘Choose to Challenge’ to encourage more people to commit to helping forge an inclusive world.
Sentura’s Managing Director, Laurie Pollard commented: ‘As an SME business, I believe Sentura is in a unique situation in that 11 out of 19 – almost 60% - of our team are women.
