For a number of years, Firechief® has proudly held Gold accreditation from Investors in People, and this time, we’ve taken it one step further.

For the first time, Firechief® Global has achieved Platinum accreditation from Investors in People, the highest level of accreditation possible.

And we’re genuinely proud of it.

From Gold to Platinum: Why This Matters

We know from years of working with Investors in People that Gold accreditation isn’t easy to achieve. We've maintained it over several years through consistency, leadership and strong people practices.

But Platinum demands more. It’s definitely not about policies or about ticking boxes. It’s about culture, the way people feel, how they’re developed, how they’re trusted, and how they perform.

Platinum organisations demonstrate leadership that’s visible and credible, a workforce that’s engaged, empowered and has clear values that are lived, not laminated, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement

This recognition tells us that the way we lead, support and challenge our people is working. Not perfectly, but purposefully.

We knew we needed to celebrate this achievement with the team because this was a people award.

We didn’t want a formal dinner or just a speech and a banner, so we celebrated in a very Firechief® way, with a team-wide chocolate-making event we called Taste of Platinum.

It was hands-on, creative and ever so slightly competitive, and most importantly, it brought the whole team together, because our Platinum accreditation belongs to everyone, from operations and logistics to sales, customer service, marketing and technical support.

Why This Makes A Difference For Our Customers

Accreditations like this aren’t just internal milestones. They tell our distributors, installers, specifiers and retail partners something important: Firechief® invests in its people with the same seriousness that it invests in product performance and third-party certification.
