The Agrippa battery operated door holding device is a wireless operation. The device learns the sound of the building's fire alarm and is then programmed to release upon hearing that sound.

The 10mm brown seal contains an intumescent material which expands when subjected to heat to form a seal around the fire door, preventing the fire from spreading.
