Powder Fire Extinguishers

The Firechief® XTR 3kg Dry Powder extinguisher can be used on A, B and C class fires making it ideal for vehicle fires. It is often paired with a 9kg Dry Powder for use on HGVs where a minimum of 12kg is required.

Firechief® XTR 50kg Powder wheeled extinguishers are commonly used for large fuel storage areas and offshore marine facilities as it can tackle A, B and C class fires. The extinguisher is also MED approved.

The 1kg Dry Powder Firechief® XTR extinguisher is suitable for class A, B and C fires, meaning it can tackle most fires involving wood/paper, flammable liquids and electrical fires. It is also effective on vehicle fires making it a great extinguisher to have in the car or van.

The Firechief® Elite 6kg powder polished extinguisher is ideal for architecturally sensitive environments and design-led interiors. Its polished steel body gives it the design impact required to be in keeping with prestigious surroundings. The extinguisher is built to comply with the requirements of BS EN3 excluding clause 16.1 (red coloured body).

The 800g Powder extinguisher is another small unit from the Firechief® range. With its 5A 34B C ratings this extinguisher can do a lot to tackle a fire in its early stages, despite being so small. Its size makes it so easy to keep by your side wherever you are – in the car, the van, the caravan or the kitchen and it is suitable for use on most fires involving wood/paper, flammable liquids and electrical fires.
