We’re delighted to welcome Michael Robertson to the Firechief® team.
Joining us as part of the Business Development team with a specific focus on the Lithium Battery Range, Michael comes from the renewables industry and is an advocate for the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable global economy.
Michael’s previous experience, which includes starting in the paper industry and helping two businesses grow from startups to market leaders, combined with his passion for sustainability and renewable energy all put him in a fantastic position to lead up this new area for Firechief®. The increased global focus on Lithium-ion batteries means it is an exciting part of the business and, as Michael says, he is “most excited to bring our full suite of products to new market sectors to help make the world a safer place.”
Outside the workplace, Michael enjoys watching motorcycle racing and spending time in the countryside, and with his family – wife Antoinette, son Milo and their Italian Greyhound, Mollie.

One fire safety tip that Michael would like to share with everyone is:
- Always use the right charger for the job – from your EV down to your phone, buy the best you can and don’t be tempted by cheap, inferior products.
Michael believes that there is currently a “knowledge gap on the safety of this new energy model, so the chance to join Firechief® and help bridge this gap was one I jumped at.”
